We are in the process of making a large new garden for a beautiful country house in a south Cambridgeshire village.  The first phase – a stunning swimming pool – has been completed and we look forward to the next stages. The garden is a gentle progression in relaxed yet structural planting, from more formally organised spaces and sculptural planting near the house, through the enclosed sanctuary of the pool garden to the winding paths and soft textures of the orchard and paddock beyond. The garden will very much be a sanctuary of calm for this busy professional couple with young children and it is a place that will rightly take time to come into being and mature.
